Shimon Sheves Biography
Shimon Sheves and his three partners founded the company in 2002. Their offices are based in Washington D.C. He currently serves as the company’s chairman. He is a critical member of the RSLB team, as he brings extensive experience in both the public and private sectors and a wealth of working relationships and a network of connections, to best serve any company that seeks the company’s services.
RSLB helps companies to define their mark, position themselves within that market, and manage their products and, if the company would like, they are ready to provide complete oversight of all of their accounting needs. Their clientele come from across the spectrum of industries, including government agencies, hi-tech, biotech and non-government services. RSLB has years of experience working with international and multinational financial institutions, such as IADB, IFC, the World Bank, EXIM Bank and OPIC. The company, through both Sheves and his partner’s backgrounds, provide their clientele with a ready network of established working relations, including connections to state officials, local business communities in a number of U.S. cities, boards and their directors and executives of a number of prominent investing companies.
Before entering the private sector, Shimon Sheves traveled in the political circles of late former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. When Rabin was defense minister, Sheves was his closest aide. He was instrumental in the formation of the Labor Party’s new strategy in the 1990s, which led to their first prime ministerial office in 25 years.
Rabin initially appointed Shimon Sheves as his campaign manager and, after winning the election for prime minister, he asked him to stay on as his Chief of Staff and Director General of the Prime minister’s office. While working in Rabin’s office, he served on a number of inter-ministry committees, including those for Development and Construction, Development of the Druze, Bedouin and Arab communities, Industry and Trade and the Land Administration Authority.
Prior to his national political career, Shimon Sheves worked on the more local political level in the Golan. He served as the chairman of the Golan Economic Development Company. This company worked through a charter by the Israeli government to develop the most far north area of Israel. He was instrumental in developing the region’s economic infrastructure and jumpstarted it’s economy. At the same time as he was working on Golan development and he also took over Israel’s national land management, coordination settlement towns in regions around the country.
Shimon Sheves is not only a businessman. He is also dedicated to community involvement and charitable efforts. He is a benefactor of ALEH: Caring for Israel’s disabled, together. In addition to ALEH, Sheves is dedicated wholeheartedly to the Yitzhak Rabin Center for Peace in Tel Aviv. The center educates to spread the ideas and beliefs that Rabin believed in during his life and as a political leader.
Today Shimon is involved in the ever changing Cyber security industry and is the founder and chairman of HolistiCyber company. HolistiCyber specializes in providing nation-state level cyber security protection.
